All MistyCouture corsets are tailor made to order, using only the finest materials and measurements requested/submitted by you.
No two corsets are exactly alike.
All of MistyCouture corsets are strong and well crafted as structure and attention to detail are our main focus.
We do not work with real leather and any fur - any fur you've come across on the website is faux.
Customers are welcome to send in textiles of their choice after a sample has been approved by us.
If you see something on the website but want it made slightly different, feel free to inquire for info about bespoke designs!
As each design is specifically made to order, corset manufacturing time is about 4-12 weeks from payment date [standard sizes only] and up to 3 months from measurements file completion and approval [bespoke orders only - the waiting list constantly varies - please inquire via email for specific dates]. Turnaround time does not include shipping.
If you need your corset for a specific day be sure to request a rush service.
Prices for waspies and underbust corsets rush service are the following:

Made-to-measure & bespoke designs
Made-to-measure and bespoke orders' turnaround is based on availability and can vary between 2 to 8 months. Please enquire via email.
If the order total is below £400, 50% non refundable deposit is required as order confirmation.
Full payment required before shipping.
If the order total is above £400, 30% non refundable deposit is required as order confirmation and we can arrange a payment plan over 2 or 3installments.

Couture & Special Orders
We love creating bespoke designs for special events such as weddings, prom, parties, etc..
Send us an e-mail explaining what type of dress or garment you would like to have and we'll be happy to create your dream design for you.
Please note this service will require a £80 non-refundable deposit that will cover time, designs and editing. This will be deducted from the total, once the order is confirmed.
This kind of service starts from £500, deposit included.
The following charges will be incurred if changes to measurements are made:
10% for any alterations/corrections made within 48 hours of placing the order
25% for any alterations/corrections made after 48 hours of placing the order
No alterations or corrections can be made after 72 hours of placing the order
Colours & Fabrics
We are happy to provide fabric and colour samples to help you decide what's the best style for you and to avoid mistakes.
It's possible to make 1 colour or fabric change within 48h from the order confirmation, except in the case of a requested rush service, in which case the project has been started so a sudden change is impossible.
All MistyCouture underbust and overbust corsets include the followings:
12-16 panels pattern depending on shaping and size required
1-3 fabric layers depending on the fashion fabric chosen. Mirror matching, plaids and detailed patterned fabric may incur additional charges
European Coutil fabric always used.
European-made spiral steel bones for maximum comfort and shaping. Flat steel bones used at front and back for extra support.
Back lacing with Nickel free metal eyelets
1.5cm high, strong, double-faced polyester ribbon corset lacing.
Triple stitched seams
Hand cut handmade bias binding edging
Corsets are shipped via Royal Mail tracked and signed option.
Delivery between 1/2 days within UK.
Orders are shipped via UPS.
Delivery within 7 working days worldwide. This option is tracked but not insured for damage or loss.
Express shipping is available worldwide for an extra fee. Delivery worldwide within 5 working days.
We are not responsible for any damages made during transit.
Full insurance is subject to extra charges, Please ask.
We aim to ship all OTR corsets purchased from the
sample sale within 3 working days.
OTR ready to ship corsets are clearly marked and cannot be customised.
Bear in mind that during the months of November, December and January, our response and shipping times can be delayed.
Payments and Customs Duties
All our prices are in UK Pounds Sterling (GBP), exclusive of any import duty.
For all international orders, Customs tax are responsibility of the customer, if you fail to pay these charges and the product is returned you will be charged for further shipping costs.
By placing your order with us you constitute acceptance of the terms described at which point you are bound to your contract.
If any invoiced amount is not received by the due date, then without limiting the company's rights, the following will be applicable:
Those charges may accrue late interest at 8% of the outstanding balance per week, or the maximum rate permitted by the law, whichever is lower.
If we need to seek legal assistance to collect payment for an unpaid invoice, these charges will be added to the outstanding amount owed on the invoice
How to Return/Exchange
Returns are only available on Standard size corsets where defects are present and are subject to approval. If the incorrect size was selected on check-out, this is not the responsibility of Misty Couture and returns will not be accepted. Returns will not be available on made-to-order corsets and apparel, due to incorrect colour expectations. Colours match the main material used. Full colour charts and samples are available upon request, to avoid disappointment.
Please ensure you check the sizing chart provided before completing your order. If you have any concerns over the standard sizing, please contact us on firstname.lastname@example.org before ordering.
All items are thoroughly checked before shipping to ensure the quality of the product. However, if for any reason you find a product to be faulty and you return it to us within 14 days from delivery, we will remake a new item for you, once you have returned it.
No refunds available on Bespoke designs, Made to Measure and Sample sale corsets and apparel.
No refunds available for delays due to couriers mistakes, health issues or if the client changed their mind.
Return/Exchange shipping charges are the customer’s responsibility.
All exchanges need prior authorisation and should be placed carefully in it’s original packaging.
Please insure the package for the value of the items and ship with tracking as we are not liable for lost package.
When shipping the item back, you must clearly mark the package as RETURNED GOODS. Otherwise we reserve the right to refuse the package or charge you the full Customs and Excise duty.

In line with UK law, none of our items fall under the right for cancellation as they constitute as customizable or bespoke products, although we do offer free of charge cancellations within 48 hours from ordering or invoice paid.
Damaged or incorrect items
From time to time MistyCouture will have a samples sale.
The designs on sale will have a detailed description and realistic images of the product on dress form or model.
Customers will receive exactly what's shown and described and MistyCouture won't take any responsibility for "unrealistic expectations" and won't issue refunds.
No modifications to the product will be made after the purchase. MistyCouture is not responsible for incorrect fit caused by wrong measurements or changes in the client's body.
Every order will be photographed prior to shipping as evidence of quality and no faults.
MistyCouture is not responsible for damages caused during shipping, unless you purchased an insurance option.
MistyCouture will treat every customer detail as private and confidential and will only use those supplied info to design, create and send out the order.
MistyCouture will not share any information with third parties, unless required by law.
We receive, collect and store any information you enter on our website or provide us in any other way. In addition, we collect the Internet protocol (IP) address used to connect your computer to the Internet; login; e-mail address; password; computer and connection information and purchase history. We may use software tools to measure and collect session information, including page response times, length of visits to certain pages, page interaction information, and methods used to browse away from the page. We also collect personally identifiable information (including name, email, address, telephone number); payment details (including credit card information).
When you conduct a transaction on our website, as part of the process, we collect personal information you give us such as your name, address and email address. Your personal information will be used for the specific reasons stated above only.
We collect such Non-personal and Personal Information for the following purposes:
To provide and operate the Services;
To provide our Users with ongoing customer assistance and technical support;
To be able to contact our Visitors and Users with general or personalized service-related notices and promotional messages;
To create aggregated statistical data and other aggregated and/or inferred Non-personal Information, which we or our business partners may use to provide and improve our respective services;

Our company is hosted on the Wix.com platform. Wix.com provides us with the online platform that allows us to sell our products and services to you. Your data may be stored through Wix.com’s data storage, databases and the general Wix.com applications. They store your data on secure servers behind a firewall.
All direct payment gateways offered by Wix.com and used by our company adhere to the standards set by PCI-DSS as managed by the PCI Security Standards Council, which is a joint effort of brands like Visa, MasterCard, American Express and Discover.
